British Council Scholarships
The British Council promotes internationalism by encouraging and supporting international students arriving in the UK for education, and UK students undertaking study in India, providing support and services to UK universities. Their work in supporting higher education consists mainly of two programmes. The first is Internationalising Higher Education (IHE), and the second is a multi-partner programme called UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI). IHE aims to create collaborative partnerships and supports the internationalisation of the student experience. UKIERI aims to enhance educational links between India and the UK and focuses on particular thematic areas, including Leadership Development, Innovation Partnerships, Skills Development and Enhancing Mobility.
IHE offers a number of prestigious scholarships to Indian students, which may be tenable at the University of Cambridge. Further details of these opportunities are available on the British Council's website here.
